Voting Rights and Issued Share Capital
 
In conformity with rule 5.6.1 of the Financial Conduct Authority's Disclosure and Transparency Rules (the DTRs) we would like to notify the market of the following:
 
The Company's issued share capital at 1 November 2018 consisted of 35,216,989 ordinary shares held in treasury, 252,564 shares held in The Sage Group plc. Employee Benefit Trust and 1,085,319,742 ordinary shares with voting rights.
 
Therefore, the total number of voting rights in the Company is 1,085,319,742. The above figure, (1,085,319,742) may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the Company under the DTRs.
