BUZZ-PREVIEW: Salesforce Q2 rev, EPS seen rising ** Shares in Salesforce Inc CRM.N down ~0.2% on Wednesday ahead of the software company's Q2 results, which are due out after market close
** Wall Street sees CRM reporting adj EPS of $3.27 vs $2.91 in year-ago quarter on revenue of $11.32 bln, which would be up 10.6% from $10.24 bln in Q2 2025, according to the latest data from LSEG
** In the last 8 quarters CRM's EPS beat the Street seven times while revenue beat six times
** The company's Q2 revenue forecast, issued in late May, was below Wall Street estimates and fears about AI-driven disruption overshadowed a Q1 beat. Along with the entire software sector, shares in CRM have been volatile due to worries about competition from AI
** CRM shares ended Tuesday's session more than 44% below their last record close, which was on Dec 4, 2024. Last down ~22% YTD vs a ~2% decline for S&P 500 software index .SPLRCIS, ~20% advance in broader S&P 500 technology sector .SPLRCT, ~12% gain for benchmark S&P 500 index .SPX and ~11 rise in Dow Industrials .DJI
