Feb 10 (Reuters) - German steelmaker Salzgitter SZGG.DE said on Tuesday it expected only a modest improvement in the economic environment in 2026, as it forecast an around 500 million euro ($595 million) rise in annual sales.
The group expects sales of around 9.5 billion euros in 2026, after it reported preliminary sales of 9 billion euros for last year, slightly below analysts' expectations of 9.11 billion euros in a company-provided poll.
