DUESSELDORF, June 20 (Reuters) - Salzgitter SZGG.DE, Germany's second-biggest steelmaker, said on Friday that ArcelorMittal's MT.LU decision to drop plans to convert two plants to carbon-neutral production showed that framework conditions for green energy need to be improved.
"For companies like Salzgitter, which are already in the midst of the transformation, it is now important to further intensify the efforts that have already been launched to develop the hydrogen economy and to reduce electricity prices to a competitive level," it said in a statement.
