Petrofac: Rises after consortium wins Thai refinery project

** British oilfield services provider's shares  PFC.L  gain
as much as 3.7 pct after a consortium led by co wins refinery
project in Thailand worth around $4 bln
    ** Consortium includes Italian oil and gas contractor Saipem
SpA  SPMI.MI  and Samsung Engineering Co Ltd  028050.KS 
    ** Petrofac's share is around $1.4 bln in the project, which
will be completed over 4 yrs 
    ** Co says the project will also increase the refinery's
production capacity from 275,000 barrels per day (bpd) to

    ** Shares up 18.4 pct YTD, including session's gains
    ** Petrofac last up 1.7 pct at 596.09p
