Charitable Contribution

 

Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. (KS005930, KS005935, SMSN, SMSD) ("SEC"), on
March 18, 2026, announced that its Board of Directors has authorized the
following contribution:

 

□ Contribution to the Korea Credit Guarantee Fund

- The Company will contribute to the joint guarantee program of the Korea
Credit Guarantee Fund in 2026 to support financing for partner companies,
thereby enhancing their technological and price competitiveness while also
stabilizing the Company's supply chain ecosystem and strengthening national
industrial competitiveness

- Contribution recipient: Korea Credit Guarantee Fund

- Contribution amount: KRW 10 billion

- Beneficiaries: Primary to tertiary small and mid-sized partner companies
transacting with the Company

- Support method: Upon the Company's contribution of KRW 10 billion to the
Korea Credit Guarantee Fund's joint guarantee program, the Fund will issue
guarantees of up to KRW 150 billion, on which banks will extend loans to
partner companies following a credit review

- Support details: 100% loan guarantee ratio, reduced guarantee fees

 

※ Total support amount: guarantees of KRW 150 billion based on the Company's

   contribution + additional guarantees of KRW 50 billion funded by banks
