Sands China rises on Q3 profit jump; hopes to resume dividend payment

rise ~4% to HK$19.40; set for the third straight session of gain
    ** Las Vegas Sands  LVS.N -controlled resort operator's net
income rises to $268 mln in Q3 2024 from year-ago $231 mln
    ** Total net rev drops 1% y/y to $1.77 bln
    ** Co hopes to resume dividend payment next year
    ** Hang Seng Commerce & Industry Index  .HSNC  slips 0.9%
and Hang Seng Index  .HSI  eases 0.4%
    ** YTD, SCL down ~15%
