** Shares of Sandur Manganese and Iron Ores  SUMG.BO  surge
as much as 12.80% to a record high of 2,166.25 rupees
    ** BSE says miner will be included into S&P BSE Energy index
 .SPBSENIP , effective Dec. 18
    ** Addition into index likely to bring in further inflows
into the company through index funds, according to analysts
    ** Trading volume is ~358,700 shares as of 2:17 p.m. IST,
six times the 30-day avg - LSEG data
    ** Including session's gains so far, SUMG up 162% in 2023
compared to 9% rise in BSE Energy index
