ECONOMY
Italy estimates a deficit-to-GDP ratio this year broadly in
line with its 4.3% goal set in September, Economy Minister
Giancarlo Giorgetti said on Saturday, adding the government will
cut its 2024 growth target to around 1% from the previous 1.2%.
DEBT
Italy's Treasury said on Friday it would sell up to 9.75
billion euros in bonds at March 27 auction.

STELLANTIS STLAM.MI
Leapmotor 9863.HK electric vehicles will be built at
partner Stellantis' Tychy plant in Poland, two people close to
the matter told Reuters on Friday, making it one of the first
Chinese automakers to start production in Europe.
The Chrysler parent said on Friday it would lay off about
400 U.S. workers as it works to cut costs, boost efficiency and
ramp up electric vehicle production plans.
TOD'S TOD.MI
L Catterton's takeover bid to take the luxury group private
will begin on Monday and end on May 8, a document showed on
Friday. The offer targets about 28% of Tod's share capital.
The board of the Italian shoemaker said on Friday it deemed
the takeover price of 43 euros per share fair.
TELECOM ITALIA (TIM) TLIT.MI
Italy's Treasury is considering teaming up with Spanish
private equity firm Asterion for a possible joint bid for TIM's
submarine cable unit Sparkle, Bloomberg News reported on Friday
citing people familiar with the matter. The Treasury and
Asterion are nearing a preliminary agreement, the report added.
PIRELLI PIRC.MI
The tyre maker said on Friday it had signed an agreement
with a pool of international banks for a new 600 million euro
credit line, maturing in October 2028. The new line will allow
the company to early reimburse part of its debt maturing in
2025, reinforcing its liquidity margin and extending debt
maturities, it said.

LUXURY
Italian fashion house Valentino said on Friday it had agreed
with its creative director Pierpaolo Piccioli to end their
collaboration, adding that a new "creative organisation" would
be announced soon.
