Australia's Santos logs 5% rise in second-quarter sales revenue
Australia's Santos logs 5% rise in second-quarter sales revenue July 23 (Reuters) - Energy major Santos STO.AX on Thursday reported a 5% rise in its second-quarter revenue, supported by higher sales volumes from its LNG project in Papua New Guinea and stronger realised crude and condensate prices.
Australia's second-largest independent oil and gas producer reported sales revenue of $1.35 billion for the three months ended June 30, compared with $1.29 billion a year earlier.
That, however, missed Visible Alpha's consensus estimate of $1.57 billion.
