** Shares of Santos STO.AX rise 1.1% to A$7.935, their highest level since June 15
** Oil and gas producer reports Q2 sales revenue of $1.35 billion, compared with $1.29 billion a year earlier
** However, sales miss Visible Alpha's consensus estimate of $1.57 billion
** Stock up 24.8% YTD, including moves in current session
