** Oil jumps $1 in early trade after Iran launched fresh attacks on U.S. military assets in the Gulf O/R
** Sub-index set for a third straight session of gains
** Woodside Energy WDS.AX gains 2.4%, Santos STO.AX up 1.8%
** YTD, AXEJ up 33.7%
