BRIEF-French company Lactalis agrees to buy Saputo's UK dairy division Aug 14 (Reuters) - LACTALIS/Saputo Inc. SAP.TO:
BUYING SAPUTO'S SAP.TO UK DAIRY DIVISION
Saputo had earlier said it was selling its UK dairy division, in a deal valuing that division at an enterprise value of around 988 million pounds ($1.34 billion).
Transaction expected to close by end Q1 2027.
