MILAN, July 19 (Reuters) - Italy's energy group Eni
ENI.MI is providing full cooperation to the antitrust
authority on a probe over an alleged cartel to sell transport
fuels, a spokesperson for the group said on Wednesday.
"We take note of this and we are providing full cooperation
to the antitrust authority, convinced of the correctness of our
actions," the spokesperson said.
Along with Eni, the companies being probed include Saras
SRS.MI , Esso, Ip and Kuwait's Q8. The authority said in a
statement the companies allegedly coordinated price increases
for the bio-component of the fuels they sell.
