** Shares in Sartorius SATG.DE and its biotech unit Sartorius Stedim Biotech STDM.PA drop over 2% after a WirtschaftsWoche report questions its 2.4-billion-euro acquisition of French biotech firm Polyplus in 2023

** Report argues Sartorius overpaid for an asset whose revenues have since disappointed, raising doubts it can justify its valuation and debt burden

** Sartorius did not immediately respond to a request for comment

** Sartorius is among the worst performers on the German mid-cap index MDAX .MDAXI
