 * Is gearing up to sell generic drugs in the U.S. - Nikkei 
 * Expects to win FDA approval to sell generic version of cholesterol drug 
   Pitavastatin starting between April and September 2017 - Nikkei 
 * Also plans to have three other generics in the pipeline for FDA approval in 
   the fiscal year ending in March 2018 - Nikkei 
 * Pharmaceutical's move into U.S. and higher capacity likely will spur co to 
   raise its group sales target for year ending in March 2018 - Nikkei
