Scatec shares slide after Equinor sells stake at discount

** Shares in Scatec SCATC.OL fall around 7% after Equinor EQNR.OL said it has sold 12.9 million shares in the Norwegian solar energy group for around NOK 1.6 billion ($169.43 million)

** The shares were sold at 125 crowns each, a 7% discount to Monday's closing price of 134.4 crowns

** Equinor maintains a stake in Scatec of about 8.05% following the transaction

** If losses hold, Scatec shares are on track for their worst day since April 2025

($1 = 9.4436 Norwegian crowns)
