Australia's Scentre Group surges on strong half-year results

** Shares of Scentre Group SCG.AX rise as much as 3.3% to A$4.130, their highest level since August 5, 2019

** Stock logs its highest intraday pct gain since July 1

** Property developer posts 93.7% rise in half-year profit after tax attributable to A$782.2 million ($508.27 million)

** Co also logs 2.9% increase in HY revenue to A$1.31 billion

** Stock up nearly 20% this year, including the day's move

($1 = 1.5389 Australian dollars)
