May 7 (Reuters) - German machine and car parts maker Schaeffler SHA0.DE said on Wednesday that its first-quarter revenue fell 2.9% in constant currency basis, missing market expectations, dragged by weaker performances in Europe, the Americas and China.
Revenue fell to 5.92 billion euros ($6.73 billion) in the January-March period, compared with a Vara consensus estimate of 6.11 billion euros.
