EU/UKRAINE: European Union leaders decided on Friday to borrow cash to fund Ukraine's defence against Russia for the next two years rather than use frozen Russian assets, sidestepping divisions over an unprecedented plan to finance Kyiv with Russian sovereign cash. EU/MERCOSUR: EU executive chief Ursula von der Leyen told European Union leaders on Thursday that the signing of the contentious EU-Mercosur trade deal had been delayed to January, EU sources told Reuters, casting some doubt on the future of the EU's trade expansion plans. KERING PRTP.PA: French luxury group Kering PRTP.PA will buy family-owned jewellry producer Raselli Franco Group, it said on Thursday, announcing an initial 115 million euro ($134.76 million) investment into the business. RENAULT RENA.PA: Renault Group announced on Thursday that S&P Global Ratings had raised its long-term credit rating for Renault SA to "BBB-", bringing the automotive group's rating back into investment grade territory. SCHNEIDER ELECTRIC SCHN.PA: Schneider Electric announced on Thursday that it had finalised the acquisition of the remaining 35% stake in its existing joint venture in India. STELLANTIS STLAM.PA: Carmaker Stellantis will cut production at its Mulhouse site in France by 28% from current levels at the start of next year in order to adapt to market demand, said a Stellantis spokesperson.
