(the "Company")

The following notification made under Article 19(1) of the UK Market Abuse
Regulation ("MAR") relates to a transfer of an indirect interest in 27,711,941
ordinary shares in the Company by Suzanne Schroder, a member of the Company's
principal shareholder group (the "PSG"), to Matthew Pintus and Quorum Limited
(as trustees of a trust established by Suzanne Schroder). The overall
shareholding of the PSG in the Company remains unchanged following this
transfer.

This announcement is made in accordance with Article 19(3) of MAR, as the
recipient trust is a person closely associated with Leonie Schroder (a
non-executive director of Schroders plc) for the purposes of MAR. No dealing
has been undertaken by Leonie Schroder.
