Scynexis shares tumble on recall of antifungal drug

** Shares of drugmaker Scynexis Inc  SCYX.O  slump 32% to
$2.1 in premarket trading
    ** Says to recall antifungal drug Brexafemme, pause studies
due to potential risk of cross contamination with another
compound
    ** Says became aware after a review by partner GSK that
substances used to make beta-lactam are manufactured using the
same equipment used to make Brexafemme
    ** FDA guidelines require segregation of manufacturing of
beta-lactam compounds from other drugs over potential to trigger
hypersensitivity or allergic reaction
    ** Says recall cautionary, not received any report of
adverse events due to possible cross-contamination
    ** Brexafemmme is a pill used to treat vaginal yeast
infection
    ** Up to Friday's close, SCYX shares up 112.18% YTD
