Board Change

 

11 May 2026 - SDI Group plc, the buy and build group, focused on companies which design and manufacture specialist lab equipment, industrial & scientific sensors and industrial & scientific products, announces that Non-Executive Director, David Tilston, intends to  step down from the Board with effect from 31 July 2026.

 

David, who joined the Board in July 2017, is stepping down in line with best practice corporate governance, as he approaches his maximum tenure as an independent Non-Executive Director.

 

During his nine-year tenure, David has provided invaluable guidance and support through a period of transformative growth for SDI Group. Upon his appointment, the Group comprised of 4 companies generating £10.7m in revenue and £1.3m in Adjusted Operating Profit. He has helped steer the business through to its current standing, generating £66.2m in revenue and £10m in Adjusted Operating Profit as of YE2025. David's strategic insight has been integral to our continued expansion and success since that time.

 

The Board has commenced a search process to appoint a new independent Non-Executive Director and will announce a further update on this new appointment in due course.
