SEI signs on $26 bln asset manager as client, shares rise

** Shares of investment tech platform SEI  SEIC.O  climb 6%
before the open on a strong day for markets
    ** Co signs deal to deliver market technology to UK-based
Close Brothers Asset Management (CBAM)
    ** CBAM manages approximately 20 billion pounds ($25.72
billion) in assets
    ** Some of CBAM employees will join SEI as part of the deal
    ** YTD, SEIC has gained ~21%
    ** Meanwhile, the S&P 500 and the Dow were set to open at
record high after Republican Donald Trump won the White House
