ASML drops as China advances DUV tools

** ASML ASML.AS falls over 6% after tech publication The Information reports China has started producing domestically developed immersion deep ultraviolet (DUV) lithography machines, a key chipmaking tool long dominated by the Dutch group
** According to the report, the machines are expected to be delivered this year to Chinese chipmakers including Semiconductor Manufacturing 0981.HK, Hua Hong Semiconductor 688347.SS and ChangXin Memory    ** ASML is among the worst performers on the STOXX 600 .STOXX, down 6.4% to its lowest since early June and giving up earlier gains. ASMI ASMI.AS falls 4.3% as the report weighs on semiconductor equipment stocks
