U.S. stocks advanced on Wednesday following upbeat retail earnings from Lowe's
and Target that reinforced confidence in consumer demand, while investors
awaited release of the Fed minutes for further clues on the path of future rate
cuts. .N
At 11:33 a.m. ET, the Dow Jones Industrial Average .DJI was up 1.03% at
26,230.41. The S&P 500 .SPX was up 0.88% at 2,926.11 and the Nasdaq Composite
.IXIC was up 1.03% at 8,030.357.
