** Shares of U.S. natural gas companies fall, tracking natgas futures NGA/

** U.S. natgas futures NGc1 down 2.3% at $3.35 per million British thermal units

** Natural gas prices slid over 2% on a smaller-than-expected decline in daily output so far this month, after a 10% price jump on Tuesday forced some traders to cover short positions

** Shares of natgas companies Cheniere Energy LNG.N down 1.6%, Energy Transfer ET.N fall 2.2%, Williams Companies WMB.N down 1.3%

** NextDecade Corp NEXT.O down 2.6%, Sempra SRE.N falls 1.6% and New Fortress Energy NFE.O down 14.4%

** ETFs — United States Natural Gas Fund UNG.P down marginally and ProShares Ultra Bloomberg Natural Gas BOIL.P falls 1.4%, respectively
