US natgas companies fall on record output despite colder weather forecast

** Shares of U.S. natural gas companies down, tracking a fall in natgas futures NGA/

** U.S. natgas futures NGc1 down 5.4% at $4.42 per million British thermal unit, putting the contract on track for its lowest close since November 18

** Natgas prices fall on record output and ample amounts of gas in storage, despite forecasts of colder weather and higher demand than previously expected over the next two weeks

** Shares of natgas companies: CNX Resources CNX.N down marginally, EQT Corp EQT.N dips ~1%, Cheniere Energy LNG.N slips 1.5%, Energy Transfer ET.N falls 1.2% and Williams Companies WMB.N down 1.1%

** New Fortress Energy NFE.O falls ~6% and Sempra SRE.N down ~1%

** ETFs United States Natural Gas Fund UNG.P down 5.3%, and ProShares Ultra Bloomberg Natural Gas BOIL.P falls 10.7%
