U.S. stocks rose on Friday after a broad selloff on Wall Street during the week as investors assessed the fallout of tariff policies on economic growth, while new data signaled deteriorating consumer sentiment and a surge in inflation expectations. .N

At  11:30 EDT, the Dow Jones Industrial Average .DJI was up 1.34% at 41,358.44. The S&P 500 .SPX was up 1.75% at 5,617.95, and the Nasdaq Composite .IXIC was up 2.16% at 17,675.94.
