Senior plc announces Battery Cooling Plates production order with Valmet for
supply to a prestige Italian OEM

Senior plc ("Senior"), an international manufacturer of high technology
components and systems, announced today that Senior Flexonics Crumlin
("Crumlin") has secured a production order for Battery Cooling Plates with
Valmet Automotive GmbH ("Valmet"), the battery module supplier for a new
electric hybrid vehicle from a prestige Italian car marque.

The cooling plates were developed at our product design and development centre
in Crumlin, South Wales in the UK, in close collaboration with Valmet.
 Manufacturing for the production contract will also be undertaken at Crumlin
on a dedicated battery cooling production and assembly line.

Commenting on the supply contract, Mike Sheppard, CEO of Senior Flexonics,

thermal management solutions.  Our battery cooling plates enable our
customers to extend electric vehicle range, and preserve battery life, by
ensuring the cells remain at their optimum working temperature through their

with an innovative solution for this exciting opportunity."
