AI developer SenseTime climbs on launch of SenseChat in Hong Kong

** Shares in Chinese artificial intelligence (AI) software
developer SenseTime Group Inc  0020.HK  climb 2.2% to HK$1.40,
on track for the second session of gain if trend holds
    ** SenseTime on Wednesday announced launch of the Cantonese
version of its ChatGPT-like product "SenseChat" and the web
version and mobile app will soon be available as a free service
to Hong Kong users, delivering localised AI experiences
    ** SenseTime has been in talks with sectors, including
finance, medical, construction and government departments, for
business cooperation, local newspaper The Standard reported
citing the firm's director Lewis Fung 
    ** The U.S.-blacklisted SenseTime is one of many racing to
develop generative AI
    ** Hang Seng Tech Index  .HSTECH  slips 0.2% and Hang Seng
Index  .HSI  eases 0.9%
    ** Stock up 18.1% YTD
