RNS Number : 5558B Sequoia Economic Infra Inc Fd Ld 24 March 2025

24 March 2025

Sequoia Economic Infrastructure Income Fund Limited

(the "Company" or "SEQI")

Board Changes

The Board announces that, following a close family bereavement, Fiona Le
Poidevin has decided to step down as a non-executive director of the Company
with effect from 31 March 2025. The Board wishes to express its sincere thanks
to Fiona for her invaluable contribution to the Board and as Chair of the
Audit Committee. Margaret Stephens has assumed the position of Chair of the
Audit Committee with immediate effect. Margaret is a qualified Chartered
Accountant and is an experienced audit committee chair including for
investment companies.

An external independent search process is underway to identify a suitable
Guernsey resident non-executive director to replace Fiona.

Furthermore, the Board decided to appoint an additional UK resident
non-executive director to reflect the Board's requirement to evaluate and
support the selection of new investments, portfolio management and its
approach to ongoing risk management and ESG related matters. The Board would
therefore have sufficient expertise and capacity to take over the work of the
Independent Consultants to the Board, making this responsibility more
efficient.

Following an extensive independent search the Board is pleased to announce the
appointment of Selina Sagayam as a non-executive Director of the Company with
effect from 1 April 2025, and she will assume the position of Chair of the ESG
& Stakeholder Engagement Committee.

Selina was Senior Counsel at Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher where she also led
the firm's Environment, Social and Governance Practice until her retirement
from the firm in 2024. She has extensive experience as a mergers &
acquisitions, corporate governance, financial services and regulatory law
adviser as well as being seconded as the Secretary to the UK Panel on
Takeovers and Mergers. She is a trustee and Vice Chair of the charity Refuge.
Selina is British and resident in the United Kingdom.

Selina is currently a Non-Executive Director of The Renewables Infrastructure
Group Limited and has previously been a Non-Executive Director of Hastings
Group Holdings Plc.

James Stewart, Chair, commented:

"On behalf of the Board, I thank Fiona for her invaluable contribution to SEQI
and wish her and her family the best for the future.

I am delighted to welcome Selina to the Board. Her extensive corporate finance
and legal experience, together with her strong ESG credentials will be of
great benefit to the Company."

No further disclosures are required for Selina Sagayam in respect of
paragraphs 6.4.8R of the Financial Conduct Authority's Listing Rules.
