Australia's Sequoia Financial hits 2-month high on acquiring legal firm

** Shares of the investment manager  SEQ.AX  rise as much as
1.4% to A$0.720, their highest since Nov. 10 
    ** Co says it has acquired incorporated legal services firm

    ** Says DCL will retain all existing staff and relocate
business to SEQ's Melbourne offices 
    ** Says A$330,000 purchase price will be funded from
existing cash reserves
    ** More than 108,100 shares change hands, compared with the
30-day average of ~47,000 shares  
    ** Stock rose 36% in 2021
