Sera Prognostics rises as pregnancy care study meets main goals

** Shares of women's health diagnostics co Sera Prognostics
Inc  SERA.O  rise 48% to $1.94 
    ** Stock set for best day if gains hold
    ** Co says its test-and-treat study met both primary goals
by achieving reduction of neonatal death and decreased length of
neonatal hospital stay
    ** The trial evaluated 1,453 expectant mothers to study
health benefits to babies when pregnancies are screened with
co's PreTRM test kit and physicians intervened based on those
results 
    ** Co says improvements in outcome with a PreTRM
test-and-treat approach were statistically significant
    ** PreTRM test is a blood-based biomarker test,
commercialized by SERA, which predicts risks of spontaneous
preterm birth 
    ** Stock has declined 72% in last 12 months
