In the announcement of Rupert Soames's impending retirement on 12(th)
September 2022, it was stated that as part of prudent financial planning and
portfolio management, he would be reducing his holdings in the Company as he
prepares for retirement. It was further stated that he would retain interests
well in excess of that required by the Directors' Remuneration Policy for at
least the next three years.
In line with this, on 7 November 2022 Rupert sold 1,885,000 ordinary shares at
an average price of £1.6207 pence. In the latest Annual Report, Rupert's
total share interests at 31(st) December 2021 amounted to 10,631,281 shares.
This announcement is made in accordance with the requirements of the EU Market
Abuse Regulation 596/2014 (as it forms part of UK law pursuant to the European
