POLITICS
British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak said on Saturday that he
would push for global reforms to the asylum system and warned
the threat of growing number of refugees could "overwhelm" parts
of Europe.
COMPANIES
FTSE share indexes revision effective as of Monday.
TELECOM ITALIA (TIM) TLIT.MI
TIM said on Friday its top investor Vivendi VIV.PA had
filed a complaint at a Milan court to challenge the
19-billion-euro sale of the former phone monopoly's domestic
fixed-line network to KKR KKR.N .
This week Italian infrastructure fund F2i will give its
green light to an investment in NetCo, the company that will
hold Telecom Italia's landline grid, daily Il Messaggero
reported on Sunday. Messaggero added that the investors in NetCo
expect to get a dividend yield of 4.5% each year from it. KKR
will get 55% of NetCo, with Abu Dhabi Investment Autority (ADIA)
holding 10% and the rest in the hands of the treasury and F2i.
CAMPARI CPRI.MI
A Russian court has banned a local distribution company from
importing and selling Campari's trademarked Aperol drink in the
country in a case brought by the Italian spirits group, court
documents showed.
Campari aims to acquire a brand in the whisky category next
year, the group CEO told Class CNBC, according to Milano
Finanza.

The Italian diagnostics firm said on Friday it expects its
adjusted core profit margin to rise to between 36% and 37% in
2027, adding that it was on the lookout for M&A opportunities.
ENI ENI.MI
Eni is in discussions with
funds
interested in buying a minority stake in the Italian energy
group's Novamont unit in a deal that could value the bioplastic
maker at around 1 billion euros ($1.1 billion), a source close
to the matter said.
Italy is ready to invest in Africa both to get the energy
needed for economic growth but also to tackle migration flows,
Eni ENI.MI CEO Claudio Descalzi said on Saturday.

Asset manager BlackRock Inc BLK.N has
bowed out
of talks to acquire Exxon Mobil Corp XOM.N 's majority
stake in Italy's main liquefied natural gas (LNG) import
terminal, three people with knowledge of the matter said.

M&A - VODAFONE ITALY VOD.L
French telecoms group Iliad wants to finalise a proposal to
Vodafone Italy to combine their Italian operations in a joint
venture by the end of January, two sources briefed on the matter
said.
