India's Shakti Pumps rises after patent win

** Shares of Shakti Pumps  SHPU.NS  rise as much as 6.1% to
1,135 rupees, before paring some gains to trade up 3.8%
    ** Pumps and motors maker said it has received patent for
inventing a surface helical pump construction with collinear
flow from Indian government
    ** This is the second patent for SHPU this month
    ** Stock on track for a fifth consecutive session of gain,
if trend holds
    ** More than 309,000 shares change hands by 11:45 a.m. IST,
4x of 30-day avg
    ** Stock rose 150.6% in 2023, its best yearly performance
since 2017
