3.8% to 944.70 rupees
    ** Pumps and motors maker receives patent for inventing
device which offers soft start to any motor industrial
installation
    ** SHPU to rise for third straight session, if gains hold
    ** Over 494,000 shares change hands as of 02:56 p.m. IST,
0.7x the 30-day moving average
    ** Including day's move, stock more than doubled so far this
year
