Shefa Gems (LSE: SEFA), a company focused on advanced exploration and development of multi-gemstone projects in Northern Israel, is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Yosef Itzhak Taub to the Company's Board of Directors with effect from 2nd December 2019. Since 2017, Yosef has been the CEO and Director of One Hundred and One Gold Holdings Ltd., the current management company of Shefa Gems.

Mr. Yosef Taub, aged 33, is a certified gemologist with experience in polished and raw gem sorting and has managed the Company's sample collection and geophysical surveys since 2010. He is the son of Shefa Gems' late CEO Mr. Abraham 'Avi' Taub.

Yosef has long-standing relationships with numerous equity investors in Israel, as well as abroad and worked closely with Avi Taub, in securing funding for the Company and in the overall management of the business.

He is also the owner of Eight-O-Eight Global Corp. through which he holds a 5.7 per cent. shareholding in Shefa Gems and a 14.61 per cent. in Shefa Yamim Ltd, Shefa Gems' holding company registered in Israel.

There are no further disclosures to be made in relation to Yosef Taub.
