Shefa Gems (LSE: SEFA), a company focused on advanced exploration and development of multi-gemstone projects in Northern Israel, is pleased to announce that the UK Intellectual Property Office has granted a trademark for the Company's name, Shefa Gems Ltd®. 

 

Shefa Gems applied to register the trademark at the UK Intellectual Property Office following the change of the Company's name to Shefa Gems Ltd., as announced on 14 June 2019. The trademark is valid from 26 July 2019 until 5 May 2029 and can be extended for additional 10-year periods for an unlimited time, subject to payment of renewal fees. The main purpose for Shefa Gems registering the trademark on its name is to assist building a unique and powerful brand image in line with the Company's 'Mine to Market' strategy.

 

The registered trademark also protects Shefa Gems and its brand by preventing other companies and organisations in the UK from using the same company name, or similar descriptions in connection with Shefa Gems products, as listed on the registration certificate, including jewellery, diamonds, precious stones gems, semi-precious stones and watches.
