TOKYO, June 13 (Reuters) - Japanese city gas supplier
Shizuoka Gas Co 9543.T said it signed a contract to sell the
first re-load liquefied natural gas (LNG) cargo from its
modified Shimizu LNG terminal to Singapore-based Shell Eastern
Trading Co.
The company completed the installation of re-load facilities
to the Shimizu terminal in April, and the first re-load cargo
will be shipped to Shell Eastern on a free-on-board basis (FOB)
in the first quarter of 2017, the company said.
The company said it would aim to lower LNG procurement costs
by boosting trading volumes and liquidity.
