Shockwave Medical jumps on report of potential tie-up with Penumbra

** Cardiovascular medical device co Shockwave Medical's
 SWAV.O  shares jump 7% premarket to $180
    ** On Sunday, Bloomberg News reported that medical device
maker Penumbra  PEN.N  was exploring a combination with SWAV

    ** However, PEN said it was not in talks to pursue the
combination, the report said
    ** SWAV shares have surged nearly 900% from IPO price of $17
in 2019 
    ** In 2021, SWAV shares rose 72% vs PEN's 64% gain
