Wall Street's main indexes fell on Wednesday as talks between the White House
and Republican representatives on raising the debt ceiling dragged on, while
investors awaited minutes from the Federal Reserve's last meeting.  .N 
    
    At 13:32 p.m. ET, the Dow Jones Industrial Average  .DJI  was down 0.72% at
32,816.07. The S&P 500  .SPX  was down 0.81% at 4,111.94 and the Nasdaq
Composite  .IXIC  was down 0.87% at 12,450.487.
