    - Amazon.com  AMZN.O  on Tuesday said that its cloud
computing division Amazon Web Services (AWS) plans to invest
about $11 billion to expand its infrastructure in Georgia to
support cloud computing and AI technologies.
    - Getty Images  GETY.N  and Shutterstock  SSTK.N  are
merging in a $3.7 billion deal to address growing demand for
licensed content amid AI-driven changes, with Getty shareholders
retaining 54.7% of the combined company.
    - AI startup Anthropic is nearing a $2 billion funding round
led by Lightspeed Venture Partners, valuing the company at $60
billion - more than triple its valuation from last year.
    - Goodyear  GT.O  has agreed to sell its Dunlop brand to
Japan's Sumitomo  5110.T  for $701 million in cash as part of a
plan to streamline its business.
    - Mark Zuckerberg said Meta  META.O  will end fact-checking
and lift speech restrictions on Facebook and Instagram, framing
the move as a push for free expression ahead of Donald Trump's
second presidency.
    - U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission chair Rostin
Behnam will step down on Jan. 20, as the derivatives regulator
prepares for a second Trump term, ending his tenure that began
in 2022.
