UK competition watchdog begins probe into Getty Images-Shutterstock deal

Aug 22 (Reuters) - Britain's antitrust watchdog on Friday said it has launched an investigation into U.S.-listed Getty Images' GETY.N $3.7 billion merger with rival Shutterstock SSTK.N. The Competition and Markets Authority said it set October 20 as the deadline for its phase 1 decision on the investigation.
