MUNICH, April 2 (Reuters) - Siemens SIEGn.DE nearly halved its stake in Siemens Energy ENR1n.DE, cutting it to 5.5%, a filing on Thursday showed, as the German technology giant continues to wind down its share.
In November, the stake was 10.1%.
Siemens initially kept a 35.1% stake when it spun off Siemens Energy but has gradually reduced its holding.
“We remain committed to our goal of fully divesting our stake in Siemens Energy within a reasonable timeframe, while carefully considering market conditions,” a spokesperson stated.
The spokesperson said the proceeds will have no impact on earnings.
