Retirement of Non-Executive Director

SIG plc (the "Company"), announces that Cyrille Ragoucy, a Non-Executive Director of the Company, who was appointed interim CEO of Balta Group NV ("Balta") with effect from 27 August 2018 has today been appointed CEO of Balta in a permanent capacity with immediate effect.
 
In light of this appointment, Mr Ragoucy has today informed the SIG Board that he will retire as a Director of the Company when a replacement has been appointed and the Company has today commenced the search for a new Non-Executive Director.  It is intended that any new Director will not be appointed before the Company's forthcoming AGM on 8 May 2019 and therefore Mr Ragoucy will be seeking election at the forthcoming Annual General Meeting as set out in the Notice of Meeting which was sent to shareholders on 28 March 2019.
