Cowen sees SIGA, Bavarian Nordic benefiting most as monkeypox cases rise

** Cowen expects smallpox drugs and vaccine makers such as
Bavarian Nordic  BAVA.CO  and SIGA Technologies  SIGA.O  to
benefit the most as monkeypox cases continue to rise
    ** SIGA manufactures smallpox drug Tpoxx and BAVA produces
smallpox vaccine Jynneos
    ** Brokerage says recent EU recommendations have favored use
of Jynneos over Emergent BioSolutions'  EBS.N  ACAM2000, likely
due to favorable safety profile of Jynneos along with quicker
onset of action 
    ** Estimates that BAVA has <1.4 mln doses of Jynneos
available for sale and expects the company to again raise its
FY22 revenue forecast by ~$14 mln later this year
    ** More than 3,400 confirmed monkeypox cases and one death
were reported to the World Health Organization till last week
