** Uranium enrichment tech co says unit Global Laser Enrichment (GLE) selected for award of up to $28.5 million from US Department of Energy

** Says award for advancing laser-based uranium enrichment technology

** Adds unit receives approval from Commonwealth of Kentucky and McCracken County

** Approval to receive up to $98.9 million in tax and economic incentives for development of planned Paducah Laser Enrichment Facility in Kentucky

** Stock up 7.3% so far this week, set for best week since early February

** Despite moves, SLX down 35% YTD
