Simcorp shares hit bottom of STOXX despite reports on M&A interest

** Shares in Simcorp  SIM.CO  drop nearly 7% after jumping
over 22% on Tuesday on rumoured M&A interest [nL8N2ZZ4JM}
    ** Nordnet analyst Per Hansen says it is "more rather than
less likely" that an offer will be launched, adding though that
"yesterday's rumour needs 'energy'" 
    ** The analyst notes that Simcorp's Q2 numbers from Aug 12
missed forecast  urn:newsml:reuters.com:*:nFWN2ZO106 and hence the share lacks positive
catalyst from an earnings point of view 
    ** The shares of the Danish financial software company are
at the bottom of the pan-European STOXX 600 index  .STOXX
